The Ministries of St. John's
Children's Ministry
- Grades K-5 Tuesday 6:00-7:30pm
At St. John’s the needs of children are high on our priorities. We want to come alongside parents in laying a spiritual foundation that will lead their children to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, enabling them to grow in their relationship with God and others.
Through the Awana program, we offer a fun place where children love to come; where they are nurtured and taught about what is really right and really wrong and what really matters in life; where they are cared for, cared about, believed in and loved.
We provide the space and atmosphere that helps your children learn about the One who loves them most, the One who loves them unconditionally - Jesus.
Children learn the scriptures which help them feel Jesus' love and the message of hope and healing that he offers for their lives. All are welcome.
Let the children come unto Me.... Mark 10:14
Youth Ministry
- Grades 6-12 Wednesday 7:00 - 8:30 pm
At St. John’s, we provide a safety zone - a place to evaluate life and make right choices based on God‘s plan for who you are meant to be. Teens are gaining hope for the future, finding support among peers with similar beliefs, and given direction for their lives.
We offer a place where teens are safe from pressures and can find acceptance not because of what they look like, how athletic or smart they are, but because of WHO they
are and WHOSE they are.
Teenagers talk about the ways Jesus makes a difference in their lives. They have fun and share the power of the gospel message. All are welcome.
Youth are free to gather at St. John's from 6:00 -7:00pm for pizza
and hang out time and then from 7:00 -8:30pm is some organized
teaching and discussion.
Let no one look down on you because you are young.... 1 Timothy 4:12
Adult Ministry
- Just about every day of the week!
At St. John's adults discover faith, feel acceptance, and find hope. They discover a place that has real answers, real solutions, and real help in the middle of their most difficult challenges. They discover a place where, at every level, people are educated and equipped to know and speak God’s truth.
St. John’s provides many avenues for enrichment and wholeness, from study groups on scripture, healing and relationships, to shared meals and
picnics. At St. John’s adults are getting answers, facing problems, finding friends, finding themselves, and finding God.
Every Thursday there is a special Worship Service at 6:30pm
followed by an Adult Enriching Time. All are welcome.
See the Events Page for a schedule of the coming Thursday
sessions. See Schedule Page for other small group
opportunities for adults.
Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest..... Matthew 11:29
